What is Blogging?

Blogs, you may heard this term while you were skimping through some images in Instagram or
going through some Posts in Facebook or tweets in Twitter. What is Blogging? a question that
has baffled Internet newbies all around the world!

Blogging by definition is :

Blog

A blog is a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries. Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first, at the top of the web page.Wikipedia

But actually, what I believe, is that Blog is a subset of writing, one can express their feelings, talk about a subject or gossip and chat about stuff that is often frowned upon in society

I'd like to categorize blogs into two different categories: 

1)Personal Blog:

One can write about anything in this blog, it can be about your interests, social affairs, Gossips, Poems, Art work, or generally any thoughts that come in your mind. With personal blogs one can portray their personal image into the digital atmosphere. A personal blog is generally like a digital diary.

2)Niche Blog:

Niche Blogging refers to catching a niche and sticking to it. Niche in Blogverse, is sticking to a particular topic of interest and writing about it.It is also referred to as Cash-Cow blogs as they earn the most revenue.

For Ex: Fashion, Cooking, Social Media, SEO, Writing, Art etc.
